Dr. Huang has extensive experiences in developing tumor immunotherapy approaches including CAR-T cell therapy, oncolytic virus immunotherapy, and tumor vaccine, etc. Prior to joining SimnovaBio, Dr Huang was an assistant professor in University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. During her academic career, she published more than 50 papers in the fields of cancer research and her studies were funded by the NIH/NCI or NIH/NIAID research grants and the DOD research grants.
Dr. Huang attended Wuhan University (China) and The Medical Academy of China where she studied Biology and Molecular Virology. She got her Ph.D from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with major in molecular and cellular Biology.
